Conversation

We begin with a conversation to understand your intention, the space the work will inhabit, and what you are drawn to, visually or emotionally. This can take place over email or a short call, allowing us to establish a clear yet open starting point for the commission.

Based on our discussion, I develop an initial direction for the work, considering scale, palette, and overall presence. This stage is collaborative yet intuitive, ensuring the piece responds to your context while remaining aligned with my practice.

Creation

The work evolves through a layered, material-led process in the studio. Rather than following a fixed plan, the painting develops organically through textures, marks, and shifting forms. I may share selected updates during this stage, while allowing the work the space it needs to unfold naturally.

Once the painting reaches a point of resolution, I share the final work for your review. After confirmation, the piece is carefully prepared and packaged for delivery.

Shipping arrangements are made individually depending on the size, medium, framing, and destination of the artwork. Timelines and delivery details are shared during the inquiry process.

Each work is carefully prepared and packaged to ensure safe handling and transit. Smaller works are securely wrapped using protective materials, while larger pieces may require custom packaging or rolled delivery depending on the nature of the work.

Every effort is made to preserve the condition, material presence, and integrity of the artwork throughout delivery.
