Mahak Sethia is an artist based between Jaipur and London.  Her practice explores identity, transformation, and the hidden structures of living systems through layered, process-driven painting. Drawing from organic and microscopic forms, her work moves between observation and internal landscapes, creating spaces to pause, reflect, and feel. Engaging with what lies beneath the visible, her paintings hold moments that feel suspended, shifting, and unresolved.

She is a recent MA Painting graduate from the Royal College of Art, London, and holds a BFA in Contemporary Art Practice from Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore.  

Her journey across Jaipur, Bangalore, and London continues to shape a practice rooted in an ongoing dialogue between art, science, and evolving identity.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, including the Royal College of Art Degree Show, London (2025), Fitzrovia Gallery, London (2025), Candid Arts Trust, London (2025), and Hanger Gallery, London (2024). Her earlier non-profit exhibition was at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.

Alongside her studio practice, she has worked as an assistant artist for Archana Hande for Sharjah Biennial and continues to engage with research and observation as an integral part of her process.
